And God Said…

Restoration from God. 1 Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.”

Too often it seems like more than a little while of suffering. Regardless on how long the challenges last, I know that God will restore me. The restoration might be in heaven, but it’s still acceptable because I know that is God’s will for me.

Get into God’s Word daily. Seek Him and you will find comfort and encouragement to face your giants without fear.

Worship with us on Wednesday evenings. It’s a time to be refilled! It’s also lots of fun to be with `ohana.

What’s Going On?

Softball Softball, Good News Bears. Last Sunday was the first game and boy was it fun! We’re in the novice division, but we have some ringers on our team. Thank you to Tiny for sponsoring the team and for great looking uniforms. The next game is on Sunday at 4:00pm at the Waipahu Recreation Center. Come join us to play or cheer on the team. Come see our ringers and the inspirational play of Pastor Nando.

Speaking of Pastor Nando, Tiny presented him with the game ball for his gutsy playing and for the strawberry knee. Pastor Nando also led the players in a prayer for an opposing player who strained her knee. It happened on our side of the field so we did what we were supposed to do. We prayed for her, took an ice pack from our cooler, wrapped the ice pack on her knee with elastic tape, and kept her comfortable with towels we brought.

Bible Study on the book of John. Cheryl and I will be doing this study. Let us know if you’re interested and what is the best day and time for you. Some of the days we are looking at are Sunday 8:00am, Wednesday 11:00am, or Tuesday 7:00pm.

Prayer Requests and Praise Reports. Keep sending them to us through the bulletin tabs, email, and phone.

Keiki Ministry. We can use your help! See Ron, Geri, or me about having fun with the keiki.
